Prior to 2015, most of Diana’s design portfolio came from her work at The Virginian-Pilot as a news page designer. She then switched gears to the digital world and for three years managed the homepage for POLITICO, leading the execution of its redesign. Today, she designs university reports and graphics; culls photos for monthly news galleries; and has consulted on website design and organization for several nonprofits (she also designed this site you are reading). And for fun, once a year, she transforms the movie posters of Best Picture nominees into menu items for her Oscar party.

What she can do for you: Turn your words and photos into an eye-catching publication or take the whole project off your hands and write, design, and edit your organization’s published materials. Contact her here.

news page design

Diana is a self-taught news page designer who started small (designing the education pages for a weekly newspaper) and eventually grew into an A1 designer for The Virginian-Pilot.

web design

When Diana joined POLITICO in 2015, she had very little experience working online. Within a week, she was running the homepage, and in 2018, she took the lead in the homepage redesign.

oscar movie posters

It’s her favorite time of the year: Oscar season. Each year, Diana takes the movie posters for Best Picture nominees and, with a little Photoshop magic, tweaks their titles to reflect a punny menu item.
